BCollins International Ltd was founded in Lagos to close the gap between the architecture drawings clients approve and the buildings they eventually move into. We take on a limited number of projects each year and see each one through from the first site visit to the last coat of paint.

Our Story

Built slowly. On purpose.

The practice began with a small residential renovation in Lekki and grew, one referral at a time, into a full construction and interior studio. Along the way we brought the finishing trades in-house — painters, drywall installers, concrete specialists and ceiling craftsmen — because the details we cared about kept dissolving at the sub-contract boundary.

Today the studio works across private residences, workspaces and hospitality projects. We are deliberately small: every project is led by a principal, priced transparently and delivered by a team you will meet in person.

We keep our portfolio quiet. Most of our clients come to us through the last one.

Principles

Four ideas we build against.

    Material honesty

    Concrete reads as concrete. Oak reads as oak. Finishes are chosen for how they age, not how they photograph on the day of handover.

  2. 02

    A single team, end to end

    Architects, foremen and finishing trades work from the same drawings under one project lead. Nothing gets lost in translation between the studio and the site.

  3. 03

    Rigour over spectacle

    We measure success by tolerances, sightlines and how a room feels after a year of use — not by how loud the first impression is.

  4. 04

    Respect for the schedule

    We commit to dates in writing and hold ourselves to them. Programme discipline is a design decision.
